Hayden's Favorites! (for the moment)

So this is what Hayden is up to know. He can walk with the push toy or walk pushing his walker (not the way it was ment to be used but who cares!) He is still pretty stable. We are waiting on the knew braces that he was fitted for but the botox is still in effect. We can see it diminish a little but that is to be expected. We are just so happy that he is happy. He likes to walk and loves the independence. He will use the walker or push toy to get to where he wants sometimes and the happy look on his face says it all.

Also we have this big window that he loves to play at. He will walk up and down it and put toys up there to play with and he thinks that that is so great!

We took him to Lagoon and he only rode one ride but had so much fun being as loud and crazy as he wanted. He liked hanging out with his cousins a lot.

Things seem to be moving along quite well. It is amazing what motivation and desire can do for a person. Hayden seems to have a lot of both which makes his condition better. Oh! I almost forgot. On Father's day we went to Jared's parents home and they have a long staircase and Hayden went up all the stairs almost all by himself! It was very exciting. Funny the things we enjoy sometimes but also those are some of the most wonderful moments in life.

Hogle Zoo 5/08

So this year Hayden was more interested in the animals. We went with a friend and her nephew to the Zoo and had a great time. Hayden enjoyed seeing the animals especially when they fed the tiger. Of course mom forgot to get out the camera but it was fun to watch that.

Hayden just had another round of Botox, (yes his mom poisons him) but this round was so great. In just a few days his feet were going flat on the floor! He can now walk across the room with a push toy and no other help! Hardley any tipping over! Sometimes it seems that he is so steady on his feet that he will start walking. So if I remember I will take a picture of that. It is funny the things that we get excited about but if you saw his face you would too. I am so glad that he is motivated because he kind of does his own therapy. Anyway things aremoving along and going well!
